What’s your excuse? I mean that in a friendly kind of way…  Think of it as, “Where were you last night? Why didn’t you go to the party of the century?”

Anyhow, If you’re a perioperative professional in the New Orleans area between the ages of 22 and 40, I want to hear the reasons why you aren’t active members of AORN New Orleans Chapter 1902.  No, we’re not going to publicly berate you, I simply want to come up with ideas to get more younger members involved.  You can take the poll and/or comment anonymously below.  Try to be nice and please keep it professional!

Over the course of the next few days, I’m going to post 10 excuses I’ve heard from people categorized in the “Young Professional” age group (22-40) about why they’re not a member of their professional organization.  I’ll also do my best to debunk those excuses!
